Allan Ball

I'm really impressed by the work of Allan Ball. His works include the movie American Beauty, the HBO series Six Feet Under, the new series True Blood, and a new movie, Towelhead which is already stirring some controversy. I was a big fan of Six Feet, and the preview of Towelhead has me intrigued!

Ren Fest

Huzzah! It is Ren Fest time in MN again. Saw the new Puke and Snot show. Ate bread bowl soup. Enjoyed the festivities. Marvelled at people dressed in robot outfits. WHY? How is that Renaissance related?
